open letter to someone on a road that’s unworkable
Sept. 10, 2008

the thing for you to look at si that over and over again
you are blowing off appointments and morning calls.
it’s like your word doesn’t mean anything…
that means your word doesn’t mean anything in your world…
that means people will be showing up saying things that don’t mean anything with you.
then, you get angry and sad and you become “at effect” of it, instead of in-charge-of-it!
you loose your power because your power is that you are hung together by your words…
and to not be hung together by your words causes chaos.

i am saying this so, you can notice, that not to keep your word takes you apart and destroys the cohesion of your world.
in short, you take your own power away…
when your word is like paper blowing in the wind,
you blow off your own power. and forget who you are.
you are too valuable of a player to allow this to happen to you.
it’s the state that most half asleep normal people live in.
they spend lifetimes of telling stories about how come they couldn’t.
-all the time invested in telling those stories could have been used
to declare how it would proceed if their word meant anything.
they surrender their own capability for possibility.
they are always describing the past and sweeping up the little messes while trying to dodge responsibility for the huge failures.
they refuse to listen or see the flags people wave to wake them up.
