the best things about the new holidays.
really since we moved to Vermont, is that we have expanded them all.
Christmas lasts almost six weeks, for instance.
there are special dinners, workshops, parties, potpourri making, craft making,
training projects, gifts, candy mixes to be made.
these all involve other people.
these all involve preparation.
these all involve planning.
there is plenty of room for rejoicing when people are working together.
it makes the holiday plenty, when there is so much of it. ..
there is a great welcome for the winter to rest afterwards.
i love holidays.
they show me how i want to live all-year-long, celebrating life continuousIv.
winter holidays are my favorite.
it’s the ideal time of year to gather inside cheerfully.
