some people DON’T REALLY SAY ANYTHING when they talk.
word come out but you don’t hear anything about them that you didn’t already know.
when they talk, no action happens.
they prance. they pose, they say stuff. nothing new happens due to that speaking.
the words mean nothing much.
one woman said,
“oh yes. i know. i know i need to hire a cleaning lady.”
but someone said to her “no you don’t.
you don’t know you need to hire a cleaning lady.
it’s been on your list-of-things-to-do for 6 months.
if you knew it was something you needed to do,
it wouldn’t still be on your list. you would have already done it.”
the woman looked insulted.
she had hired this woman to HELP HER GET RESULTS IN HER LIFE yet,
like the man who refused to seem vulnerable,
she too did not want to do what she hadn’t ever done.
she wanted to STAY THE SAME BUT HAVE A BETTER RESULT.
well “it doesn’t work like that…”
her coach said “here is the number of the cleaning lady
you said you would call in february. it’s july now.
she said she could clean for you on friday.
hang up.
call her.
call me back.”
the phone went click.
five minutes later the phone at the coach’s office rang.
it was the formerly stubborn woman.
she said “i just hired that good cleaning lady.”
they laughed.
